Medulin
Riviera
The
top of Istria as it is popularly called, belongs to one of the most tourist
towns of the peninsula and one of the twenty most popular tourist destinations
on the Adriatic - Medulin. With rich cultural heritage and a recognizable
church with two towers rising above the town, today Medulin develops and lives
strictly by the "recipe" of tourists. Due to exceptional climatic
conditions Medulin is often the destination for training and competitions of
top European athletes and sports teams. Along the indented and varied Medulin
coastline, hidden amidst lush vegetation during the summer heat provides
much-needed shade, and there are 18 campsites and naturist camp Kažela.

Medulin
At
80 kilometers of coastline, in coves and bays, there are six picturesque towns.
The largest and most famous among them, also the administrative center is
Medulin, with 2,500 inhabitants. Medulin is a small town in a quiet bay
overlooking the picturesque islands. Once upon a time was a fishing village,
today is a modern tourist resort. Medulin offers a dynamic and eventful
vacation. Everything is focussed on tourism. Due to the exceptionally clear
waters and beautiful beaches, rich content, is known as a top destination for
families with children. Medulin's unique sandy beach Bijeca, one kilometer
long, attracts families with young children. Nature lovers prefer campsites
where they can relax in the shade of pine trees. Naturists in Medulin is in
your wish to feel nature. Medulin bay is ideal for water sports. He is known
for archaeological site Vižules with the
remains of Roman villas and old windmills by the sea. There is plenty of
entertainment and nightlife.
Pomer
Long
time ago Pomer was a famous mussel farm, now it is known by the marina Pomer which is
located in a well protected part of Medulin bay. The marina provides 250 berths
and 50 dry berths, with all necessary facilities. Pomer people organize summer
folk festival, held in churches and classical music concerts. It is a small
fishing village that has preserved their peace.

Premantura
Premanatura
is located in Istria's far south, which was already settled during the Bronze
Age. A beautiful statue of Roman Godess Minerva was found here and today is
kept in the Archeological Museum in Pula. The remains of rustic villas are
evidence of the ancient Roman's wise choice of Premanatura as an ideal setting.
Premantura is surrounded by nature not many places can boast. In a relatively
small area there are 530 plant species, including 20 species of orchids, some
of which are endemic. South of town is Cape Kamenjak - a protected landscape
9.5 km long, 1.5 km wide, with a total of 30 kilometers of coastline. Sea is
nowhere so blue-green, so clean as here at the south. Rocky beaches, pebbly
coves. Premantura is a place of many surprises. Premantura is an adventure.
Banjole
The
locals have always been associated with the sea and fishing. That's why they
are here today and the best seafood restaurants. Those who want to prepare
seafood they need with the first rays of the sun go to the small harbor, where
fishermen wait and buy the fresh catch from them. If you are staying at a
fisherman, you may have the opportunity to join him and have an unforgettable
experience at sea. Old truth is that the best fish is from the fishermen.
Sandy
Bay
Moving
away from the city and turning towards the sea, the inhabitants of nearby Pula
last thirty years in the Bay Pješcana built a modern village and family-run
hotels. This bay boasts numerous restaurants, among which are the leading ones
in Croatia. There are no gastronomic guides and they are not prominent, as
there is no significant tourism awards have received. This resort offers a true
gastronomic experience. Deeper into the bay Veruda is one of the best equipped
marinas in Croatia. It has 650 berths on 18 piers and 250 places on land. All
piers are under video surveillance, the marina has a 30-ton crane, hydraulic
trolley of 25 tons, and boaters can get an internet connection.

Vinkuran
Fishing
village Vinkuran is located just a few kilometers away from the tourist centers
and it is isolated from the tourist crowds. It is recommended to lovers of
nature and peace. Vinkuran is always known for its stone and with a sheltered
beach with pine trees.
